How many people actually tried reading this book? How many people made it through? Did you enjoy it? Who was your favorite character?

I read it. I made it to the end. When I finished I thought, "that was pointless." I didn't like it. It was plodding and boring, and yes, pointless.

Oh, I really, really enjoyed it. At first, I was bored by certain parts, and there were definitely some storylines/characters that drew me in more than others, but on the whole, I liked it a lot. I found the ending pretty unexpected, but I like that it wasn't just a depressing ending. I like that there was some good to come out of it too.
